Pork Dumpling Lasagna

Ingredients:


1 lb ground pork

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 teaspoon minced garlic

1 teaspoon minced ginger

2 teaspoons oyster sauce

1 tablespoon Shaoxing wine, or dry sherry

2 teaspoons sesame oil

1/4 cup chopped green onions

1 1/2 cup chicken stock

salt to taste

white pepper to taste

dumpling wrappers

6 large ramekins (I used the 12oz size)








Directions:


  1. Mix all ingredients (except wonton wrappers) in a bowl

  2. Begin layering ingredients in the ramekins, start with pork, then layer a wrapper then repeat (I layered 5 times)

  3. Top ramekins with 2 oz of chicken stock

  4. Place in a deepish pan and add water to the pan coming up about 2/3 of the way up the outside of the ramekins

  5. Bring water to a low boil and cover. Steam dumplings for 20 minutes

  6. Remove from pan (careful, they're hot, I used a canning jar removing tool)
